Kids and cube world…

I am sure you have as difficult a time as I do catching up with all of the newest “tween” gadgets that the kids are playing with these days. I know I do. Well, recently the 9 year old came home and promised that he would do all kinds of chores if he could only just get the coolest toy ever. I asked him to tell me about it, and he went into the most explicit detail of how these things work, and how it’s so great, it even makes him smarter. Mind you, I had just asked him how his day at school was, and his explicit detailed answer was, “Okay.”

Well, I just went online to take a peak at it, and it is sorta cool.  Basically each Cube World contains a little pixelated stick man who lives and plays inside. There are four characters to collect and each one has a different hobby: Slim plays with a stick, Dodger enjoys kicking his ball, Scoop interacts with his dog, and Whip is a master at rope tricks. You should definitely check them out.
